Terms of service
Last updated October 26, 2026
These terms are an agreement between your business and Infinite Library SAS (RCS Nanterre 995 219 276), which operates Callista. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them on behalf of your business.
The service
Callista is an AI receptionist that answers your business's phone calls, answers questions from the information you provide, books appointments and jobs, takes messages, and alerts your team. It uses artificial intelligence and can make mistakes. You are responsible for the information you give it and for reviewing bookings and messages.
Not an emergency service
Callista is not a substitute for emergency services. It tells callers with life-threatening emergencies to call 911 or their local emergency number, and alerts your on-call contact for urgent jobs, but it cannot guarantee that anyone responds.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your business information, prices, hours and service area accurate.
- Comply with laws that apply to your calls, including call recording and consent laws, marketing and telemarketing rules, and privacy laws.
- Do not use Callista for unlawful, deceptive or harmful purposes, or to impersonate a person.
- Callista always tells callers it is an AI assistant. Do not configure it otherwise.
Free trial, plans and billing
New businesses get a 14-day free trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, your subscription starts and is billed monthly or yearly in advance at the price shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes. You can cancel any time from Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires. Plans include the monthly call volumes shown on the pricing page; we will contact you before charging for sustained use above your plan.
Your data
You own your business data and your callers' data. We process callers' data on your behalf as described in our privacy policy, which includes our data processing terms. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Availability
We work hard to keep Callista available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Third-party telephony and AI providers may have outages.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Callista is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost jobs, or indirect damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You can stop using Callista at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put callers at risk.
Law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes go to the courts of Nanterre, France, unless the law gives you a different forum.
